Today, the Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Sixto I has become the company&rsquo;s bestseller.</h4><br><h4>Hexagons have long captivated brand owner and fifth-generation tobacco grower <a href="https://www.cigaraficionado.com/article/the-tobacco-titan" style="box-sizing: border-box; color: rgb(179, 58, 58); text-decoration: none; transition: 116ms ease-in-out;">Nestor Andr&eacute;s Plasencia</a>, who called it &ldquo;nature&rsquo;s most perfect shape&rdquo; when he launched the original <a href="https://www.cigaraficionado.com/article/plasencia-launches-alma-fuerte-in-style-19051" style="box-sizing: border-box; color: rgb(179, 58, 58); text-decoration: none; transition: 116ms ease-in-out;">Alma Fuerte line</a> in 2016. But making a six-sided cigar wasn&rsquo;t just done for novelty&rsquo;s sake. According to Plasencia, giving the cigar six sides optimizes the cigar&rsquo;s surface area while maintaining compactness, resulting in better combustion and airflow.</h4><br><h4>The blend of the Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro consists solely of Nicaraguan tobacco grown by the Plasencia family. Its wrapper, which comes from the Jalapa region, is lighter than that of the core Alma Fuerte line, and Plasencia says it&rsquo;s been aged for 10 years.&nbsp;</h4>
